Jenn is a Biological Science Technician for the Sitka Tribe of Alaska. She’s originally from Georgia and has spent the last decade calling Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Alaska, and on occasion northern California home. In Bolivia, she networked with local Bolivian nonprofits and organizations like Rotary International to provide drinking water and solar ovens to indigenous communities in need.  She’s a certified yoga teacher, an outdoor experiential educator, avid adventurer, and has an M.S. in Hydrology and Water Resources. She’s coming to Sitka from Gustavus, where she was a fisheries biotechnician at Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve for Summer and Fall 2015.  Before STA, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer at the Sitka Sound Science Center.  Jenn is ecstatic to be able to apply her background in watershed science to the protection of subsistence resources as well as to assist in all of STA's projects.
