The Kayaaní Commission
is a group concerned with preserving and protecting plants and
the
traditional ways they are used. The Commission was established
by an ordinance of the Sitka Tribe of Alaska, a Federally recognized
tribal government.
Current Kayaaní Commissioners: Commissioners were elected at the Kayaaní Annual Meeting, April 19,2004. All Kayaaní meetings are open to the public. |
